Just 4 Today, I’ll drink my fiber twice (done once), drink 2 liters of water (I’ve drunk about 1/2 liter), walk 5 miles (yesterday 2.34), NOT eat between meals & NOT take seconds.
I had my hair colored and permed last night. I CAN’T stop her from “styling” my hair. So, now I look like I’ve got a bright orange football helmet on my head. And that’s pretty much the only thing on my mind today.
What are you going to do today?
Could you stick a KU logo on the side of your helmet-hair? Or is orange not the right color?
Just a not-much-happening day here. It’s going to be rainy tomorrow, then (what passes for) cold here.
Oh dear, well, there’s time to fix it, I hope ! I keep trying to find the right length– I won’t do “helmet” but my daughter says mine is too long “for a person your age.” And I look at those commercials with that same woman (I swear it is !) looking all gray and fabulous, whether playing tennis, riding in an expensive car, or whatever….. We don’t all look like that !
My 88 year old mother asked me if I dyed my hair a few months back. I told her “no” and she was confused, I think because she started dying hers 40 years ago or so and she couldn’t figure out why mine wasn’t bright orange, or something.
Stereotyping is a bitch !
Sorry you’re having a bad hair day, KB. But as they say, it will grow out. (I’m sure that’s little comfort right now.)
