Just 4 Today, I’ll drink my fiber twice (done once), drink 2 liters of water (I’ve drunk about 1/2 liter), walk 5 miles (yesterday 4.03), NOT eat between meals & NOT take seconds.
I whacked my head on my sister-in-laws cabinet last night and I feel horrible. I don’t know if I should try to walk before work or just conserve my strength. Sometimes walking gives me more energy than it uses. But, I’m right on the verge of going back to bed, so I honestly don’t know what to do.
What are you going to do today?

OUCH! How hard did you hit it?
J4T, I’ll drink my water, take my fiber, get a walk in, and figure out this Bluetooth earpiece that Mrs. Fetched gave me as an early b-day present….
If you’re feeling that bad in the aftermath of that collision with the cabinet, you might seriously consider a trip to the ER. You may well have a concussion.

Notes, symptoms may take days to develop.
Hi FAR — I hit it so hard I’ve felt on the verge of tears for 24 hours now. It punctured a hole in my head just as the Tupperware party was starting and so I couldn’t deal with it at all. When I got home (still not having looked at it) 3 hours later, I had a thick trail of gummy blood 3 inches long down the side of my face.
Hi Catdog, I probably do have a slight concussion. But, treatment is rest, not hospitals (which is why I was willing for mister to do the stitching if it was necessary. Which it wasn’t
Thank you both for asking about it.
Wow, KB. I hope that you’re okay. Maybe you should get it checked?
Make sure to let us know how you are tomorrow. We’re out here worrying about you!!
Hi Boran! Hi Beth!
I honestly don’t think there’s anything to worry about. Everything I’ve read says to rest. And the only reason I can think of to go to the doctor is if I needed a note to stay home from work. Which would have been nice if I’d thought of it last night, but won’t matter over the weekend.
It’s just funny — I’m short enough that I never think of ducking my head.
The other thing is that it hit my scalp, not my face. So, I don’t have any obvious bruising or black-eye.
I really appreciate everyone’s concern — but I don’t think there’s anything serious to worry about. They say treatment for a mild concussion is rest and that’s what I plan to do.
