Just 4 Today, I’ll drink my fiber twice, drink 2 liters of water, walk 5 miles, NOT eat between meals & NOT take seconds.

I walked to the store in between rain showers and bought sugar-free Jello instead of cake and cookies like I wanted to. So far I’ve been good - we’ll see how the evening goes. Saturday nights are tough - for some reason I just want to eat, eat, eat. And even though there isn’t much left in the house that’s sinful, massive quantities of “good” stuff isn’t really that good!
Hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend.
Had a busy afternoon, but I *think* I’ve managed to drink my water. I could probably use a little more.
Hi Beth, I know what you mean. Saturday evenings are my most difficult food time too. I’ve done OK so far today/night, though.
Hi FAR, I’ve been a little slow on my water today, but I’m still working on it. I think I’ll get it by tonight.
I DID walk 7-1/2 miles: That’s not too bad.
I’m poking around the Second Life FAQs: I’m trying to figure out how to buy or rent some space.
7.5 miles?!? That’s great - good for you!!! I think I walked 7.5 feet today.
I haven’t done really badly, but I haven’t been good, either. It’s just too tempting, sitting so close to the kitchen all day. Tomorrow I’ll get out, and away from the fridge. I’m listening to the rain and the thunder, and watching the Red Sox, finishing up my word count and getting ready for bed.
Good luck with the Second Life project - I don’t know anything about it, but I’m sure I will!

I almost backed out of it last night. I Guy dressed in all fur tried to pick me up — offering to teach me to build something if I’d go to his crib. It scared me and I shut the thing down.
Maybe I’m just chicken, but I’m not that interested in the Second Life social scene.
It must have been scary at the time, but it’s a funny story! There are some interesting people out there -we’re lucky to have such great folks in our social scene. I had a woman (supposedly) IM me one day, wanting to tell me her idea for a book. Turned out to be someone into BDSM…I’m so naive sometimes!!
Hopefully he’ll leave you alone next time!

It’s pretty interesting, there are classified ads and some of the houses/properties are pretty nice. I haven’t seen anything that’s furnished though….
Nope. She said she always wanted to be a writer, and now her kids were gone she had time, and did I want to hear her story idea? It went from there. Nothing too scary, but eventually I figured out where she was heading and told her I had to get back to work. There are a lot of strange people out there.
House hunting? I LOVE house hunting! Okay, I’ll go check it out. But maybe tomorrow - it’s almost midnight, and I should go to bed.
