Just 4 Today, I’ll drink my fiber twice (done once!), drink 2 liters of water (so far, 1/2 liter), walk 5 miles (yesterday — 7.35), NOT eat between meals & NOT take seconds.
Yesterday, I got out of the house in time to walk for a half hour at the new community center. And I really liked that. Having some time to just gather my thoughts without much distraction (just watching the few people who were also there at 7:30 a.m.)
Also, I did take some photos during my noon walk yesterday. But, it’ll be tomorrow before I can post them. I’ll be going for another lunch walk today? Is anyone else interested in “joining” me?
What are you going to do today?

I’ll walk with you, kb! I’m not getting any miles in at all these days - in spite of your inspiration. Hopefully next week…looking forward to your pictures!
I’ll walk with you, too, esp. since I somehow managed to forget to weight myself for several days! I’ve inched up a bit, too. I can feel the mashed potatoes I had last night.
While I cannot say that yesterday was a complete disaster, I did break out the popcorn for Bush’s speech. And ended up eating it all– that’s how upset I was by the end of it.
I didn’t have any of the 100 cal. bags, it was one of the regular sized Orville R Kettlekorn– low fat, but still, way too much !
I should walk home from the conference I’m going to at 1pm. That should even things out a bit. The distance is about 5-6 miles.
Meanwhile, Yahoo continues to surprise me with its sometimes quite valuable pieces on weight-loss. Check this one out and see if it rings any bells !

FRIDAY! YAY! Just4Today, I will drink at least two liters of water, not do any snacking between meals, be conscious of what I’m putting into my body during those meals, and spend the evening setting up for a community fiesta that’s slated for the weekend. There will be plenty of exercise involved, I’m sure.
Have a great weekend, everyone!
Hi all.
I will join you but not for a walk and not at lunchtime. For a run: 4 miles, after work.
KB, thanks for your other post about the blood sugar stuff.
Unlike you, I can literally use my entire calorie count on all sweet foods, and it causes no hypoglycemic symptoms. The minute my weight shoots above 129, this magic blood sugar regulation power goes away. I’ve been obsessively monitoring it for weeks now. I’m still in shock about the fact that it is my low weight itself that controls this, and not my food choices.
That having been said, I won’t use this as an excuse to eat crap all the time.
For the past three days I’ve had the same dinner: roasted chicken breast with no skin, artichoke hearts, and roasted cauliflower and eggplant.
For me this is a major acheivement, as pathetic as it sounds.
